Wedding Bow Tips

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

Many women today that are getting married are choosing not to have the traditional “white” wedding. The reason is simple; they want more color on the biggest day of their life. This also gives them a larger variety in choosing decorations such as wedding bows.

These same women are also choosing to wear hair bows that match the larger wedding bows that are part of their decorations. If you are one of these women, you need to match the color of your bows. You do not want to clash with the decorations. You also want to make sure that the size of the larger bows is appropriate for where they are put. Just make sure that they are not near any open flames.

If you are having an outdoor wedding, you also want to make sure that your bows are weather resistant. This will ensure that the weather will not ruin your decorations and if you cannot get to them right away. This is very important especially if you have a lot of wedding bells as part of your decorations.

You also want to make sure that you order your wedding bows and matching hair bows well in advance of your wedding day. You do not want to be missing something on your special day.

You want to make your selection of wedding bows and wedding decorations early so that your flower girls flower hat will match at least in color. You also do not want to forget the baby headbands for all those beautiful little babies that will be attending. You might even consider purchasing baby girl headbands for the babies of your bridesmaids with little bows attached. If none of your bridesmaids has any babies you could purchase wholesale baby headbands for those attending and then give them to babies as a gift of remembrance.

If you plan to keep the oversized bows from your wedding, you should put them in a large zip lock plastic bag or large lawn bag depending on their size. Then place them in a sturdy box that will prevent any crushing while they are in storage. This will help preserve them for years to come.
